The Griffith Film School covers programs in Film, Television, Animation, Multi-media, Digital and Media Production, and has the highest enrolments in Australia, making it the largest film school in the country.

With bachelor programs in Animation and Film and Screen Media and postgraduate programs in Media Production, the Griffith Film School is a candidate member of CILECT (the International Association of Film and Television Schools), one of only 3 members in Australia.

The Griffith Film School is the only school in Australia offering a dedicated 3 year full-time undergraduate degree focusing specifically on Character Animation.

The program includes Drawing for Animation, Scriptwriting, Pre-production, Acting and Character Animation, instruction in introductory and advanced 2D and 3D techniques, Post-production and Digital Compositing, with a strong cross-faculty theory component.

The Griffith Film School develops graduates with a high degree of technical expertise with an emphasis on creative initiative. Focus is on excellence in Character Animation in all mediums – highlighting notions of personality, engagement and audience empathy – with a strong foundation of Scriptwriting skills, Concept and Content Design.
